I already know what the sequel will be about. Lex Luthor will organize a giant class action lawsuit on behalf of the tens of thousands of people killed by Superman's pointless fight with Zod in the middle of Metropolis.

The most outrageously bad part of Man of Steel was the ludicrous idea that a teenage Clark would stand by and do nothing to save his father from a tornado. Really?

I didn't like that Superman would destroy a $15 million or whatever spy drone just because he doesn't like being watched instead of maybe just dragging it out of the sky and placing it in front of the general's jeep. However, given that he had already been negligently responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people and deliberately stood by and watched his father die instead of saving him it's not surprising.

Superman was the villain in Man of Steel. General Zod was a hero by comparison since in his defense any bad things he did were aimed at protecting and preserving the future of his species. Zod only became a bad guy once his entire reason to exist ceased to be relevant due to the deliberate genocidal actions of Superman.
