I have mostly given up on the markets. I am at 70% cash and am deeply underwater on every stock that I hold.

I got out of Viterra at the top ($6.25) with only a minor loss after holding it for about fifteen years.

GIC's at 2.65% for one year fixed makes more sense than almost any stock with the exception of Fortis, Hawaiian Electric and Husky. Although I am down on all three, they pay a dividend around five percent.

Once I am required to roll my RRSP into a RIF, the tax bite is going to really hurt.

I still haven't figured out how the government is going to tax the TFSA's but they will.

Ain't I just a little ray of sunshine?

Bob
