I have slightly wierd taxes this year and none of the tax softwareI've used in the past will work (or at least not obviously - how to enter Schedule A miscellaneous deductions such as "travel to evaluate potential investment" or "appraisal for apt building that we didn't buy" expenses in web turbotax, anyone?) I will probably have to do it by hand, but still want to efile to get the refund quicker. Does anyone know how to do this? All of the tax prep software can handle these entries. The "interviews" may not ask the question. If you know where the entry belongs, and your post implies that you do, just switch to a "forms" view and enter your data on the appropriate line. As long as you enter data on a data entry line and don't override a calculated line, you should be able to e-file.Ira
