I have some old family photos, taken in the wilds of Montana in what must have been the early 1900s... Family picnics, Cavalry, Indian TeePees at a powow, and some just pics of buttes along the way... I doubt they were taken by a small handheld camera, likely a wagon carried big box, plates, bellows, strange chemistry of the day... What a different world we have today, on a whim we can stop, take a pic of our kids, grandkids, scenery, no chemistry at all, just link it to our home computer, send it along... So yes, handy is important... I'm glad someone, way back, was able to take the old pics, so far I haven't found anyone still alive that can identify the buttes, I recognize some of the people, tho, neat stuff... weco
