I have three daughters all under the age of ten. All three are in either dance or gymnastics or both. They could be made to take a year off . . . but my wife would never allow for that. This is probably around 200 bucks per month. . . . This is one item that shows how little the two of you are communicating. Does that she is bartering time for the lessons make any difference to you? If she could find a paying job for those hours, it would help cash flow but the lessons haven't added to your debt. You can't assume that the dance studio could be changed to a paying customer. The owner may have been doing the work themselves, and would not be willing to pay for it. The emotion from both of you is very high. Tracking every expense and starting to predict expenses by going over the last years statements to find irregular predictable expenses is needed. The past is the past. You need to work on the future. Don't let the information drag you down. You are looking for information to fix your financial future, not to assign blame.
