I have wondered w/ the new all-mail voting if they can reject your vote for whatever reason and you would never even find out. Vs if you go to a poll and have to go through some kind of rigmarole and at least you know you leave a record of something happening. Albeit you count on the poll worker to hand it all in.

Of course you always counted on the pollworker to hand it all in, rigmarole or not.

In 2004 the gov race was decided by I think 11 votes and after 4 were discounted for double-voting the final margin was 7. We actually had absentee ballots for WV that year but we stuck to voting in just one state so our WA ones didn't get thrown out (nor did we go to jail).
