I just got back from my trip last week. Wow. Sweden was great and Volvo treated us like royalty. We even flew business class! We drove our new Volvo V70 Cross Country wagon to Oslo, Norway, then visited the fjords by train. After a few days, we drove back to Gothenburg, Sweden and turned the car back in for shipping. It was great. To answer your question, we paid about $37,000 for the car. At the local dealership, the same car goes for $42,000 on the lot. You do have to factor in that I paid for my companion airline ticket ($950), but we're still way ahead, plus we spent two wonderful weeks in Europe.
