I just joined the Fool community and have been nosing around the boards of stocks I own. One of the reasons I joined Fool is that the tone of the conversations is usually considerate, considered, and helpful. I purchased Honda recently--unfortunately at it's very top; but I bought it not merely for the cars, but for with the idea that they may turn out to be the #1 player in the robotics field.

As for as auto makers go, I also considered Tata Motors, as I think the demand for cars in India is going to skyrocket except for one factor--the roads stink, and new ones are not being build quickly. If someone here knows anything about companies doing road engineering in India, I'd love to hear.

I do not have the knowledge to talk about the impact of international currency markets on stocks although since I own an Indian stock, a Mexican stock, and a Chinese stock as well as Honda, I would appreciate anyone's knowledgeable thoughts on the subject.
