I keep a pretty regular 5 day/week schedule that will serve as extended base training until I get back to the states and have closer access to marathons.

I go anywhere from 20-25 miles per week, depending on how I feel and what work allows me to get in. In doing so, I've been focusing on training based on my heart rate, keeping it within 65%-75% of my MHR which has a number of benefits. One of which is that your body will burn fat for fuel.

As for the article though, it's pretty basic when it comes to unveiling some exercise myth we've all been fed over the years. Even without reading some study, just about anyone should be able to come to the conclusion that if you burn more calories than you take in...be it over 3 days a week or 7...you're going to lose weight.
