I knew you could not admit you were wrong, but sheesh - how dense can you be? You've unwittingly (finally) stumbled onto the reason your silly "x then y" statement was so absurd. (even though I'm sure you don't realize it) A phrase like 'enormous consequences' is quite deliberately non-specific. It was a warning, nothing more. You folks are rabidly foaming about his 'red line' and saying that he said he would do x if they did y are either just doing a partisan rant or are stunningly unequipped with a 'functioning IQ'. Or maybe just can't read.

He did not say he would "do" ANYTHING, and yet you guys keep saying he 'walked back' something - something you only imagined inside your heads.

You really show your desperation when you start "re-imagining" what people actually say, and then stomp and bluster that yes, he did, but no, not really, but everyone knows what that means, except, he didn't actually say that, but, but, but....

Really, really desperate. Just hot air. All done now.

Failure. If he meant to be deliberately vague he wouldn't have said half this stuff. But, when you can't stick up for Obama you can employ the PA lib tried-and-true tactic of insulting the other guy.

It's all you got.
