I laugh at most of the analyst and thier theories behind Playstation 3 sales.

The Playstation 2 was in short supply at its launch and legions of fans didn't rush off to buy Dreamcasts. Most playstation 3 owners will patiently wait for the price drops and for software to catch up with the new machine.

Bottom line is the PS3 is a powerful machine, and Sony has the best stable of 1st party developers working on exclusive games for PS3. It is exclusive games/titles that seperate gaming consoles, and Sony has this is spades.

As an owner of an Xbox 360 and a pre-order for a PS3, I already have plans to ditch my Xbox 360 the moment my PS3 is in my hands. I do this because I know what to expect with a playstation system. I have owned a PS1, a PS2 and soon a PS3. The software for the PS3 will be superior, and gaming fans will notice this in the years ahead.

Throw in a PS3 Blu-ray player, and I'm very happy, as will many PS3 owners.

Sony will win the console war again..... It won't happen overnight, but expect to see the PS3 close the gap between them and competition by mas 2007.
