I liked the job that the Craycort cast iron cooking grate did with my 14.5" Smokey Joe Silver, so I ordered a grate for my Weber 18.5" "Smokey Joe Platinum" grill (I think the grate will likely also fit an 18.5" WSM) - I tend to use it more than the smaller grill.

One thing I like about the Smokey Joe Silver is the bottom vent, which the (no longer produced) 18.5" Smokey Joe Platinum grill doesn't have...

I might work on that, but will probably look for an 18.5" donor grill to work with, preferably Weber, over changing the Smokey Joe Platinum grill that is no longer made.
