I live much more deliberately now that I have kids. Before, I could spend my bucks pretty much however I pleased. Now, I spend my bucks on classes for my little ones and on the necessities for these kids. These classes always have dual purposes as I usually sit in and learn myself.

I am deliberate in my actions as I want my kids to learn from me.

I have been around many children and have learned a few things. First of all, love your kids when you have them. One parent should do their best to stay home with the child for a couple of years. My SO works in a highly regarded preschool, yet she says she will not recommend to any mother to put their kids in a daycare or preschool setting. Children need their parents.

Always show interest in your children. I regularly go to my sons school. I talk to him every evening about his day. I know what he eats for lunch and what he did each day. I review his homework with him. We talk about anything that we want to talk about.

How many parents just put their kids in front of a tv because they can't be bothered with them. How many parents park themselves in front of the tv or computer so they don't have to worry with the kids.

Kids are our future. I can only take care of my kids so I do the best job that I can. If all parents would do the best job that they could for their children this world would become a better place.

Kids should not be conceived until both parents are ready for them. Once born, both parents need to give their love and attention to the kids.

Mark :-)
