I love it. T-Mobile also is my carrier also. Anyone that calls my main number gets sent there for voicemail. I can't seem to do anything about that. And then I have to dial-in to hear the message. But if they call my google number (which is the one I usually give out now), google records it.
What's really cool about that is that I then receive a notice that I have a voicemail (both in my window shade and in my gmail). I can with a simple "click" listen to the voicemail, plus it provides a transcript I can read (so I don't even have to listen most of the time, unless the voice recognition jacks up the transcript, which sometimes happens...but the voice message is still fine).
And yet another cool thing is that I can block any number I wish with GV. Back in 2008 I was getting lots of political calls, and I noticed several were coming from one number in particular. I went to my PC, logged in, checked the call log, and blocked the offending number. I've done that a few times. I imagine this could also be useful for women attempting to ignore overly amorous suitors who can't take a hint. :-)
