Amid all the polls on whether Americans support taxing someone else (Surprise! They do!), I must have missed the polls asking whether Americans would support cutting specific REDUNDANT programs.
Case in point: "According to a Wall Street Journal/NBC survey released late Wednesday, three-quarters of Americans say they would accept raising taxes on the wealthy to avoid the cliff." http://news.yahoo.com/republicans-losing-public-opinion-wars...
Where are the polls on cutting ANY of the following Government redundancies?
342 economic development programs; 130 programs serving the disabled; 130 programs serving at-risk youth; 90 early childhood development programs; 75 programs funding international education, cultural, and training exchange activities; ... 40 separate employment and training programs; 28 rural development programs; ... 23 agencies providing aid to the former Soviet republics; ... 17 trade agencies monitoring 400 international trade agreements; 12 food safety agencies; 11 principal statistics agencies; and Four overlapping land management agencies.
