I noticed on the link that non-commercials went the other way long. Wouldn't that tend to reduce the likelihood of a short squeeze? I don't know much about the gold market, so this is admittedly a newbie question. Also, are the commercials historically considered the "dumb" money? Shouldn't they be considered the "smart" money?
