I own F shares, but I have to admit the japs make better cars (At least more reliable). I would own stock in Honda or Toyota if it wasn't so expensive. I own the shares because I think F can be profitable, not because I think they make superior vehicles. I buy GM vehicles because they cost less than jap cars and I use a GM credit card and can save about $2000 from the rebate.

Reliability of vehicles has improved immensely in the last 25 years because the japs put quality first and forced all car manufacturers to do this. I think F can eventually catch the japs, they just aren't there yet.

I'm glad to see bad press, it forces F to improve.
