I own GSB and have for 2 years - because of a law suit they have won. The Federal government lost to GSB a major law suit. What is pending is the amount of millions (or more) the Fed Govt. owes them. The background - briefly - has to do with what happened when S&Ls failed - and certain banks were asked to take over the failed S&L business. They were given a loan - and told it would be "years" (Sorry I don't remember the number - but that number hasn't been reached.) When the fed.govt needed money - balance budget etc. - the banks that bailed out the S&Ls were told to pay up their loans. The filed a law suit - and won. A judge has taken all the evidence - and has ruled infavor of GSB - but he hasn't said how much. When that is ruled on - they will be in a great place to be purchased - as they will be worth a great deal more than they are now.
