I posted the same question to Gadzooks Investor relations and here is their response.

Good question. Landlord construction allowances (amounts that landlords pay us to offset our new store construction costs) make up the vast majority of our accounts receivable. It takes from 90-120 days to collect the allowances. The figure is so much greater in January 2001 because we opened 25 new stores during the fiscal 2000 holiday season vs. only 5 in fiscal 1999.
