I read that when it appeared on the Boomers board, linked there from "best of"; it was very popular, and certainly seems to have struck a chord with lots of folks.

I still can't think of my wedding day without crying. I found it reassuring to know that, after a while, happy memories will be happy again, and not sad. Thanks for that little reminder.

(And, all this *me me me* stuff aside -- what a lovely moment!)
