I really think that a lot of laws about permits to do things should be revised so the regulators have a set amount of time to either grant the permit, explain why they are denying it, or explain what they have found that justifies delaying their deadline by a smaller set amount. And if they fail to meet the deadline, they have to issue the permit immediately.Ironically our Prime Minister thinks exactly the same thing.
