I recently contacted Myvesta to try and help me with my current situation, (for insight on my situation, look at my other thread) and they said they could get me out of my situation with their plan, but that it would cost me $3000. Are they worth $3000? Please let me know what you think.

Heck, I've got a plan to help get you out of your situation for half that. Want the address to send the check? It's basically everything you'll read here on the board but since you are thinking about paying someone for it, I'm willing to cut and paste. ;-)

Seriously, I don't see where they could do much more for you than you can do for yourself with a little help from this board, some patience, time and discipline...for FREE.

They "might" be able to get CC companies to lower APR's and minimum payments, but you "might" be able to do that too by just calling them and explaining your situation. Loss of job, new employment, cut in pay. They may be willing to work with you.

How are you doing with your budget and cutting expenses? What did you decide on selling your truck?

And like Ishtar posted. If you feel like you lack the discipline to do it yourself and want someone else to oversee your repayment plan, at least go talk with one of the free CCCS programs first.
