I reread all the posts again and heres a few more background things:

His job that he "lost" All I know is what he told me and he said he thought they MAY be about to fire him. So he quit. I feel he could have stayed until they DID actually fire him (because he didn't know for sure) and been looking for a good job in the meantime instead of scrambling for a job with half the income that he now does not want to quit. And I had no say in this matter. And I would have supported him by the way as long as he understood what we;d have to give up for him to have this job that he loves.

He has always supported the stay at home mom thing and if he doesn't like it now after 4 years then too darn bad for him. He can hang in there for 4 more until my son is in school He cannot change the rules now. I don't like him cutting his income in half, but I am dealing with it. The main problem is his selfishness> I am trying to get him to go to counseling, but that is next to impossible. I guess now the situation is for another board. Its not so much the debt, but him not taking responsibility. I just posted the situation here because this board is where I've been spending most of my time. And I was doing so well...........I had it all figured out and was paying down debt and had a budget. :-( All that hard work down the drain.

I guess thats it for now. I guess I really wanted to see if its still worth it for me to try and do it on my own. But with a setback of $1400 on his salary it is now beyond impossible.

and man that coffee was good.
