I retired nearly 10 years ago at age 52.5

My 62nd birthday in June...expect the first SS check to hit the checking account in late August.....yippee...more spending money....

Yes, lots of boomers live beyond their means in retirement.

Others have fat city/state/fed pensions or pensions from corporations......so are in hog heaven..just waited for the time they could retire...and get out......

Biggest issue for many will be health insurance till 65......if you got that, you are probably set...with fat pension....and SS kicking in....

However, for those who spent apent and spent...and didn't save enough to fund their high flying lifestyle..well.....they might just have to keep working....

And for the ones who got divorced, remarried, maybe 2-3 times.....had oodles of kids...they might not have enough saved up.....

Obama will 'save them'....with some bread and crumbs..
