I still feel that this is a worthwhile stock to own in a diversified portfolio. They have been beaten up in the market and continue the path down. I look at this to up my stake in the company. I have been trying to find out if rumors of the possible sale of Jim Beam Brands holds any water and it does not seem to. I believe that these rumors are part of the cause of the falling stock price.

This is a company that as a whole can and will be strong in the future, but I think that they must stay whole to do so. If they were to sell off Jim Beam Brands then I would be very tempted to sell FO and go Jim Beam. I am not saying that I think these rumors hold any credence at all but in the case that they may be true this is my take on the situation.
