I stopped getting a "real tree" when the kids left it to me to take it down and get its wet soggy bottom out of the house. Now I have a lovely 7' pre lit tree that is perfect in every way.

Many of the ornaments are from when the girls were little, some they made. Many of the ornaments are, of course, corgis and beautiful foxes. And some other doggies. It is a grand tree and when you have it all decorated, you cannot tell it is not real. Last year I also bought a little table tree for my family room...also pre lit.

I put up the outside lights all by myself. I am proud I could do that.

I wish we still had little ones, but the GKs are now 22 and 24. Wonder if I will ever see great GKs;)..

I do have to say, that I do not enjoy one bit the chore of taking everything down and putting away in the basement.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a Healthy, Happy New Year to all!
