I suggest you calculate what you would pay out-of-pocket without dental ins. for the services you now use and expect soon. Year 3 insurance with AARP Delta for one person costs nearly $600.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I have another ~16 months on Cobra so with first 2 years of Delta I'm good for 3+ years. I'll keep your warning in mind for cosideration shortly before my 3 years are up.

Two cleanings and exams a year will cost (at today's prices) ~$400 total, just a wee bit more than the current Delta premiums ($38.xx/month, with $1000 yearly benefit so the coverage makes sense. (My Cobra premium is $35.xx/month for $1500 total annual coverage.)
