I sure don't think that the school teaching sex as though it is inevitable is a good idea though. If they want to know and have parents they can't talk to, the school nurse or health dept. are there for them. Even teen magazines and books at the library give more information than they need.

I also blame myself and every parent that got divorced for making our kids think nothing lasts.

You cannot blame yourself for ever Becky. Eventually each of us makes our own decisions, influenced no doubt by a greater authority than you, the teen magazine. Mum's words are so boring. :-) Cheer up.
