i think our experience of time *seems* continuous (not discrete intervals or skips)but the theory is that it ,in fact, does occur in discontinuous skips ( a Planck-length of time )So the "invention" of that length, according to the smallest distance we can currently count on, is not only just a measurement, but describes an actual aspect of time? and how it works?Incredible.k
