I think that 401kinvestor is someone struggling with a serious illness who despite that fact is managing to work and attempting to keep control of finances. I fully agree with those who feel that his strategies are not optimal, that he would be better off learning how to let money sit and to build up money for irregular expenses, and that it is not a good idea to replace a newer car because of $1500 in repairs.I just think that his posts may need to be looked at in terms of the larger picture rather than thinking he is deliberately posting to play us.Hmm. You could be right. If you are, he is someone that I doubt can be helped by this board. Certainly I will not be able to help him.Probably the kindest thing I can do is put him on ignore and ignore any threads he starts.Patzer
