I think we are starting to see the downside to all this consolidation in the CC and Banking Industry. Unfortunately, the employees are doing their jobs in a vacum and no idea of the big picture.

I just got off the phone with First Chicago. I have to send them a court order to get funds released from a minor's account. My "contact" there has retired so I wanted to know who I should send the order to so it didn't get lost. It took about 15 minutes on the phone and a number of transfers between departments before I got the right person. What ever happended to "I connect you with Joe, he should be able to help you."
