I think you're on to something colovion....go ahead and walk whenever you about your building? does it have steps? if your knees can take it, walk up and down the steps during breaks. get a pedometer and calibrate it to your stride. I put one in my pj pocket first thing in the morning and feel fantastic if I've dared to reach 10000 steps in a step. Rarely do I make it every day but it's a goal. When I go up in the 12-15k range, I feel really proud of myself and know any food I ate that day was a gimmee. :)

Portion size are another thing I'm constantly working on and the only cure is to weigh and measure my food such as protein and yogurt. Nonfat yogurt is like pudding to me, I flavor it it stevia to sweeten it up.....I can eat 32 oz....the whole container easy peasy. Dangerous for me to do because even though it's healthy it's 400 calories plus let's see maybe 68 carbs in one sitting.

oh I left out that I use either raw oatmeal or raw flax hot cereal and add to eggbeaters to make my big pancake in the skillet....I use Pam to keep it from sticking. It's delicious and to me it's a pancake to someone used to sweet and fluffy floury pancakes it's probably something only a dog would eat. :)
