I thought this board was about retiring early, but it seems to be an anti-Democrat board. Is there a healthy early retirement discussion going on somewhere at the Fool?

Thanks, Trey

You read me wrong, 28. I'd be happy to respond, if someone had a question I can address. I'd be happy to ask a question, if I had a specific one. I'd be happy to respond others' comments on retirement ropics if I had something useful to add.

Nothing sinister here. Trey

So let me get this straight. You want a "healthy early retirement discussion" but you don't have a specific question to ask. That's the problem, i don't have a specific question either. I tinker with my portfolio here and there and reinvest dividends, i'm slowly building a snowball dividend stream. I really don't have any questions, i have a game plan and am in the process of living it out. Things which could affect my game plan, dividend tax rate, capital gains rate, Obamacare, the EPA on my oil and gas stocks, etc. etc. The list is really endless of political implications on retirement. I have much more confidence in myself being able to retire early and stay retired than i do the governments ability to make retirement less possible. I'm not sure that last sentence made sense but you get the idea.
