I too have been getting lots of these offers. The last two were particularly interesting. CitiBank (where I have had a credit card for years) sent me an offer of 2.99% good until the balance was paid off and they would write the check to me...NOT A BALANCE TRANSFER and no fees of any kind. At the same time StateFarm Bank sent me a 0% balance transfer offer good until July 06 if I would take their credit card. I got the StateFarm card along with their maximum credit limit, called CitiBank and they sent me a check. I promptly had the Citi balance transferred to StateFarm. It cost $13 in interest for the 7 days it took to move the money.I deposited the money in my PayPal MMarket account which pays over 4%. Proving that if you are careful THERE REALLY IS A FREE LUNCH.
