I totally agree with your thoughts. With January comps down only 2%, business is obviously picking back up. Clothing is extremely seasonal and it is definitely clear the clothing for Fall/Winter was not popular. The great thing about that is the stock got hammered. As the new season comes in, so do a whole new line of clothes. The same women who hated the Fall stuff will come around again to see what's new. If they like the clothes, they will buy and comps will rise again. With Paul Harris the problem is not store concept (such as with Boston Chicken), but with selection of merchandise - an easily fixed problem with clothing.
