I tried to see "Monsieur Hulot's Holiday" twelve years ago -- aside from one sight gag there was only one scene that my friend and I thought funny.

I know the French consider Tati to be right up there with Chaplin or Keaton, both whom I admire tremendously, but I need to know what films show off Tati's genius. Can someone help me out?
