I try not to assign motives to them too often. It is possible to be wrong about their motives and to allow them to be given cover.

The facts of what they actually profess aloud to believe in and the history of their actions and the implications of those actions is too damning to worry about the why.

The facts are that they do stupid, then they demand stupider because stupid was not big enough, then when stupid finally collapses they demand moronic. Housing, education, poverty programs, family programs, government investing in industry in area after area the same identical pattern appears.
I'm starting to assign motives because i don't think it's possible to be that stupid for that long. I think there's a few posters that i think it's possible for, i have my candidates, one Fa'd my post yesterday, another is a "free thinker", i'd be happy to provide a list of who i think is stupid and who i think is in the evil/jealous camp <g>.
