I try to keep myself in the 15% bracket, but it is getting more difficult and I need to go over the 44k to break even!



Most of us would rather pay less in tax. But if you can afford to draw down more of your assets I would not try an stay in the 15% tax bracket. I would spend what I can afford and the taxes are what they are. They are just an expense of live.
