I understand what you are saying, but my deliema is this...

My 401K offers a 2% match on what I deposit as long as I send at least 4%--a 50% match up to 2%--anyway, my choices in this 401K are pretty good and they include...
ACRNX--I have $$ in this one
SGOVX--money here as well

but they also offer JMVSX, PTTDX, RGACX, RLBCX and a Sound Shore something that I don't have the symbol for. My Roth is where I have the Index funds and I am steady DCA into these and don't want to defer any other $$ elsewhere, but I also don't want to incease my $$ going in either right now as we are trying to save for a house. So any changes right now kind of need to be made with in the 401K. So I guess I'll keep things as they are for now until some more $$ is free'd up do divert into Vanguards REIT index or some individual stocks or maybe a sector fund--maybe TRowe's media or health care fund...
