I understand your statement. However, the subject matter is pretty dramatic and yet could still be very real. Most of the discussion in this book covers previous crashes and bubbles and suggests that demographics played a very large role. This particular book maintains that we are in the greatest stock market bubble to date. The author suggests that the DJIA will peak at 26000 to 32000 by 2012 and will pull back as much as 30% and remain flat for as long as 15 years because demographics. This all sounds extraordinary to me at this moment. IMO, the challenge in reading this kind of material is temperance and the questions you ask while reading. A little insight is what I hoped to gain while I am finishing this book. I find that other's insight helps to see the angles.
