I use American Fund's Investment Company of America, ICA, ticker AIVSX, as my money
market for $250k. It has given me 11-13% over the past 20 years.

According to Morningstar, AIVSX is a large value fund (200 multinationals) with a 5.75% front-end sales charge and a 0.55% expense ratio. Most recent annual returns : 29.8, 22.9, 16.6, 16.6 .

1. Not a money market fund
2. As a fund, doesn't look so good up beside VFINX
