I usually open the pool earlier than most people, generally at the end of March.Where are you and your pool that you can even consider opening it late March?-----Northern KY (just across the river from Cincinnati, OH). Although I open the pool then, I don't spend much time in it. A quick dip in 60°-70° water is enough to get the blood flowing pretty good! Weather pattern here is similar to the part of NJ where I grew up (Elizabeth), but temps are a bit milder. I know you guys got hammered with snow this winter, and although we're sorta in the same jet stream pattern, it all went north and south of us. What part of Jersey are you in?We're putting one in this Spring but here in NJ at the beginning of March, tonight, it's hovering in the low teens.-----We've been hitting around freezing at night here, mid-40's daytime. The weather guessers are saying we'll be in the 70's by this weekend. (temporarily of course, but still...)I'm having a tough enough time getting motivated to hit the hot tub tonight.bigpix-----I have an old building on my property (used to be a working farm years ago) that I plan to put a hot tub in. After knocking the front wall out it'll be a large open sheltered area, big enough for a hot tub, changing area(handy for the pool too), and patio set. When I have that done I'll probably use it (hot tub) all year 'round. I'm actually considering heating the pool, but it'll take more work to maintain it then, so...Rich
