I voted for "dreamer and planner" but I don't waste my money on lottery tickets. If it weren't for my dreams, there would be no motivation to plan. :-)

Me too!

Someone told me that when people buy lotto tickets, "Your not really spending the dollar on the chance to win the jackpot; the chances are so slim that it's just irrational. What you're paying for is the chance to dream for the time period between buying the ticket and seeing the announcement that someone else won."

My reply: "If I want to dream about winning the jackpot, I can go ahead and do that, even if I hold on to my dollar. Dreams are free."

Actually though, I don't dream about winning the lottery. Financial success is one of my dreams, but I want to acheive it by building a strong foundation of financial education and wealth, not have it fall into my lap (and then disappear because I haven't learned how to take care of it).
