Yesterday (05/18/99) was a good day for me as I did two things.

1) received the first pay-check from my weekend job and paid off completely my Shell card with it and sent the rest to the Discover to lower the amount by more than 50%. It was a good amount that I received and I spent 100% of it to pay the debt and boy, I have not felt any better in a long time.

2) I got 2 offers from Providian and something called "Creditcorp"(?!). Providian's terms were,
a) $ 500.00 credit line
b) $ 89.00 processing fee
c) $ 59.00 annual fee
d) APR 24.99%
e) No grace period
the "Creditcorp" wanted me to send them $29.95 processing fee to give me a credit line of $ 10000.00 good towards purchase from them(!)

I took the one month old issue of Newsweek( I don't subscribe it any more to save money) tore it in two halves and put each half in each of the postage paid envelopes and mailed them the same day.

FELT SOOOOOO GOOD, MAN !!!!
