I was hoping that someone could help me come up with some recipes for using canned tuna fish. I came across a good sale a few weeks ago & brought up quite a bit. The only thing is tuna salad can get pretty old after awhile

Here is a recipe my husband created.

Tom's Tuna Tantilizer

2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
1 7 oz. can tuna
1 small can peas
1/2 stick of velveeta (large stick)
6 slices of american cheese
4 oz. cheddar cheese
2 tbs. miracle whip (hellmans will not do)
salt and pepper to taste
milk 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup
2 tbs. margarine or butter

- cool elbows until soft.
- while they are cooking melt cheeses in a 2 1/2 - 3 qt bowl in microwave or ina pot on the stove and
transfer to bowl
- add margarine andmiracle whip and mix well
- strain elbows and add to cheese mixture stir well to coat.
- break up tuna into small pieces and add to bowl
- add peas, salt and pepper mix well
- pour in milk enough to come up about halfway in the bowl
- cook in regular oven at 350 for approx. 30 minutes,
in microwave about 10 on high.
- mix 1/2 way through the cooking time.
