I was just about to point to the example of Thomas, Vetiver, when I saw your earlier reply. Thomas is a rich study in cognitive dissonance: appointed based largely and cynically on his combination of race and ideology, as he was clearly underqualified for the USSC; determined at every turn to obliterate all standards of affirmative action that furthered his own career; and, of course, waxing ever-morally indignant while up to his eyeballs in blatant, corrupt, corporate cronyism.

No wonder he almost never speaks. Why dig an even deeper hole?
