I was listening to a local radio show (Bob Bauer's Outdoor World, on 97.1 FM in Detroit) today and one of the guests had a very interesting idea. He is disabled (he was shot in the spine when he was a kid) but that hasn't stopped him from fishing... until last year when the medical bills got too high and he was forced to sell his boat and wasn't able to fish at all. What he decided to do was create a website and sell off individual pixels for $0.10 each in blocks of at least 100 pixels to advertisers as a way to raise money to buy another fishing boat and fish in tournaments. . . . The url for the site is www.fishingpixels.com . Stop by and give it a look, just visiting the site would help him in is quest by raising the hits and making it more attractive to advertisers.

Sounds like a great solution to the guy's problem - not only will he raise money for a new fishing boat, but some of the advertizers might offer him a discount. I predict he'll be back in a fishing boat, catching walleye, before you know it!
