I was rather frustrated my last 3 months on the job 17 years ago or whatever. I was still making more than anyone in the office, I would just rather spend my time skiptracing people, whose payments were unlikely to be worth my time ,than calling the liars and hammering them. Of course, when I DID find someone who skipped out on everyone and had 10+ collectors looking for him, I had an advantage. I would say, Mr X, you are a very good skip, but I am a very good skiptracer. You are driving a 1 year old Forerunner and not paying for it.

What say you pay me $150 a month on this visa account or Toyota Motor Credit just might find out where you are ? Hey, it worked !

And when he quit paying, I would call a buddy at Toyota credit, and they would pay me $100 for his address assuming they could repo his auto !

See, it helps not to piss off collectors !
