I went to Georgia Tech at the turn of the millennium, where I breezed through a music minor (jazz piano) in addition to my engineering degree. GT has a pretty awesome Music Technology master's program, but I couldn't stand how they're replacing the art of playing music with the art of programming a computer to play it.

And I mean, it was quite awesome. I saw robots who could improv, trading four's... It was only as good as the computer programmer... but... kinda scary.
