I wish to thank BubblesUp and all those kind Foolish Folks that took the time to answer my query about A Spouse receiving SSI and wanting to open an IRA by her husband in her name as a Spousal IRA. It seems to me that this may be a technical subject with the IRS and the Social Security Administration, and if my wife lost her SSI because of one of my stupid mistakes, we would end up in deep trouble. I would welcome more input. (You know how us seniors are).
